Update...After Almost Two Weeks on Meds

It's been a while since I've updated and that's because...frankly....I feel like CRAP.  I guess the medication doesn't agree with me very well.  I feel nauseous a lot of the time and have a lot of stomach pain.  I've been extremely tired-to the point it's hard to function-and that's no fun.  Also...the pain has been very bad.  Most days it's around a 7, but I have had several days of 9-10 pain levels.  The pain is still in my arms and legs, but the worst in my foot and now my knees are really starting to hurt.

I have an appointment to see my GP next week about the h. pylori infection, but other than that I am just waiting for the Plaquenil to start working.

PLEASE let it start working soon.  I am barely functioning right now.  I'm missing out on life and I hate it.  I can't go on like this.  I'm so miserable.

  1. This is all normal considering you have just started on them. And the pain will need time, up to three months before you see a response. Patience, patience, patience.

  2. Hi There,
I know the sickening time you are going through. I am quite knowledgeable about what we have because of my medical background and a lot of research. I HAVE BEEN GOING THROUGH THE SAME THING, SINCE JULY!!!!

I test negative also. But, I have good news. I would prefer talking on the phone, because when we communicate in word, 70 percent of the communication is lost.

I have had 6 brain surgeries and recently had a melanoma removed. I love the Lord and He has blessed me so much. I recently had my appointment with the rheumatologist in Scottsdale and also my Integrative MD and PhD. My pain is so under control with out Lyrica.

My phone number is 208-232-0403. I live in Pocatello, Idaho. I blog, but not much because, I am partially blind and my daughter who is working on her NP, she has her BSN said that I look like a 90 year old person with a hunch back when I am on the computer.

I look forward to talking with you.
    Lord Bless, Linda

  3. Are you on any steroids? I know they hate to put us on them, but they do help me. The weather here has been crap, which always affects my pain levels as well. Last night it was 3 a.m. and excruciating pain in my left knee.

    Hugs, we'll get through this.
